At the Speech Center of Katy we offer multiple types of services. These include speech and language therapy, The DIR/Floortime Model, and Oral Sensory Motor and Feeding Therapy. Our areas of specialty are children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Low and High Tone, Cleft Lip/Palate, Tongue Thrust, Sensory-Motor Feeding Disorder, Infant Feeding Difficulties, and Persistent Articulation Disorders.
While the Speech Center of Katy is known for being a Pediatric Speech Therapy Clinic we aim to provide individualized speech therapy for all ages. If you are interested in services please fill out our Contact Information form, so we can better assist you and your family.
Parents are welcome to be present during therapy. In cases where it is not ideal for the parents to be present, we will provide ongoing consultation on the progress made and updated program plans designed for therapy at home or in coordination with other therapists.
Sessions are typically 45 minutes once or twice a week. The duration of therapy greatly depends on your child’s speech and language goals.
The Speech Center of Katy accepts most major insurances (TCHP, UHC, BCBS, CHC, etc. The 2 common ones we see but we are NOT in network with are Aetna and Cigna.
